THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The reason most politicians work hard to be reelected is that they are afraid to go home and try to make a living under the laws they have passed!!

Proverbs 6
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

The Christian should want to know the things God "hates" and desire to keep them out of his life.
The "proud look" depicts one who considers himself better than others.
God says that continual "liars" will not inherit His eternal glory (Revelation 21:8).
A person who "sheds innocent blood" is a murderer.
One that "deviseth" evil with his mind and one that is quick to be involved in "mischief" are linked together here. It seems that one leads to another.
Also, the "false witness" (or gossip) is linked with one who plants "discord" among the "brethren."
It has been said that gossip is character assassination or spiritual murder. To cause "brethren" to be at odds with one another is the same.
Take note that the Bible teaches us that what God "hates" is an "abomination" to Him!
We certainly want to try and keep those things out of our lives!
Living FOR God means striving to live HIS way!!
Love ya,
