THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

<><><><><>

Yesterday I talked to a "tech rep" from our server. He said the lines were "messed up," and I couldn't log onto my e-mail. I had to use their "web-mail" program.

Obviously, I didn't know how - I'm not much of a puter buff. So I told him I'd just wait until they got it repaired.

The "tech rep" offered to show me how to get to the web-mail program and use it.
Today I know WHY! It was broke AGAIN!

Ps 119:11
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

The Word of God is important to us as Christians. Memorizing, learning and using God's Word is important too.

Memorizing and learning God's Word without putting it to use in our daily lives is like memorizing and learning your own phone number but never calling it. Pretty soon, you can't remember the number.

The Word of God is His direction to us. As the little boy said, that's the reason it's called the B I B L E. It is:
Basic
Instructions
Before
Leaving
Earth.

Yes, the Word of God is important to Christians. Memorize it? Yes. Learn it? Yes. But most of all, we should put it to ACTION in our lives.

Love ya,
Bruce

Col 3:16
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
