THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Two prisoners were shackled to the wall of a deep dungeon.
Spread-eagled, they were securely lashed by manacles and chains; actually hanging suspended, side by side, a few feet above the damp floor of the dungeon.
Only one small window was above their heads, and it was about 30 feet high.
But one prisoner whispered to the other and said, "OK! Here's my PLAN!"

Rom 5:1-2
1 Therefore being justified by faith , we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We are living today; but are we ready for tomorrow?
Life is brief and uncertain. We have today by the gift and grace of God; but we are not assured of tomorrow on this earth. By faith, we know that God holds tomorrow in His hand as securely as He holds today.
Tomorrow may come; indeed, we are instructed to plan for it. But what if tomorrow issues into eternity? Are we READY? The same faith that helps us walk with peace today, gives us hope for a tomorrow with God in eternity.
Without that faith in Christ, tomorrow is unsure and enigmatic.
Faith is clinging to Christ. It is by conscious decision to surrender to Him, that we become "justified by faith."
The first result of this surrender is "peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ." Peace to face the trials and difficulties of today, and peace to know that tomorrow may bring us into the full presence of God.
The second result of being surrendered to Christ is that we have "access" to God's GRACE. This grace enables us to endure today and be ready for tomorrow.
Today we may face loss of loved ones, injurious accidents, heartache, heart trouble, cancer. And if we still are on earth tomorrow we might face the same!
With Christ, we can face today and tomorrow on earth with faith, peace and grace.
AND we have a hope of a better "tomorrow" - an ensured eternity with God by faith in Christ.
REAL LIFE is lived "by FAITH!"
This is God's PLAN!
Love ya,
Bruce
