THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Little Philip was visiting with his grandmother, and they were headed for Sunday School. She led him through the vestibule, where she new he would meet the pastor.

After having been greeted by the pastor, Grandmother stopped to pick up a bulletin. Philip asked, "Grandmother, does he live here a the church, or does God send him every Sunday?"

Every Christian truly washed in the blood of Jesus, is made to be a "priest unto God."
No, they don't LIVE at the church; but they do attend faithfully.

The perpetual place of the Christian is before God.

We stand there in need. For we, as meager sinful souls, can only be sanctified "unto God" through the mediation of Christ, our Lord.

We stand there to pray. We carry our requests to God for ourselves, and for our families.

We stand there to listen. In this world we need God's guidance and direction.

And, we stand there to offer up spiritual sacrifices for our neighbors. For them we entreat God that they might be spiritually drawn to Christ; that they might be encouraged to know Him as Lord.

My Christian friends, consider your life today as a "priest unto God."
LIVE in that position, and give Christ the "glory" for it.

Love ya,
Bruce
