THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Fear not that your life shall come to an end, but that it shall never have a real beginning.
Make the most of yourself for that is all there is of you.

Rom 14:9
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

If God had so desired, He could have made us, who are imperfect, perfect upon our conversion.
If God had so desired, He could have taken us to heaven when we first surrendered to Christ.
It is not necessary for us to remain on earth in order to be prepared for God's immortality in heaven.
Sanctification is a long process and we shall not receive the glorious reward until we die or Jesus comes - whichever is first.
God is loving and kind. He would never keep us from His eternal reward one second longer than necessary.
He does not seek our harm, but our help! He certainly wouldn't leave us on the battlefield if it weren't a part of His eternal plan.
So why did God leave us here after salvation began in our souls?
So that we might "live unto the Lord!"
We are to be witnesses to others of God's love and grace.
We are to testify of what we have experienced in salvation.
We are to prophecy of what we shall find on the other end of this physical life.
We are here as "workers together with Him" (2Corinthians 6:1).
We are to have the "light of life" (John 8:12) and extend it to others.
We are to be the "salt of the earth" (Matthew 5:13).
We are "His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
If we have chosen LIFE in Christ, then let us "live unto the Lord!"
Love ya,
Bruce
