THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

In 1991, Steve Spurrier, Florida football coach, was telling Gator fans
that a fire at Auburn's football dorm had destroyed 20 books.

Then he said, "But the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet."

Christian friend, consider your life as a series of books to be colored.
Each day represents a book of conquest to be colored with victory.

Faith, that most valuable gift of God (Eph. 2:8-9), is given to help us
color in victory through every day's struggle.

Every Christian appears before God every day.
And it is from HIM we draw our strength to go on.
Because Ps 37:39 says,
"But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD:
He is their strength in the time of trouble."

And, though we fail many times, yet we have the strength
to enter each day with new ferver.
For "HE is their (our) strength in the time of trouble."

Each Christian is “seen” by God every day.
Be sure you appear before God in prayer, requesting your strength for the day!

There's a song entitled SOLDIERS OF CHRIST ARISE, written by Charles Wesley.
The last stana goes like this:
"From strength to strength go on,
wrestle and fight and pray,
tread all the powers of darkness down
and win the well-fought day.
Still let the Spirit cry
in all his soldiers, "Come!"
till Christ the Lord, descends from high
and takes the conquerors home."

You may have many books yet uncolored.
Stand in faith, that you might color them in victory!

Love ya!
