THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
I still remember some of the principles Dad taught me.
For instance,
“If you do small things well, you’ll do large things well also.”
“The only thing that comes to you without effort is old age.”
I still have trouble applying some of those principles to my life.
For instance,
“Keep your head DOWN when you swing that club, Son!”
“To learn a principle is one thing; to apply it is another.”

At times, it’s better to be silent than to speak.
At times, to have solitude is better than to be in society.
Two things stated in the verse above that are important.
I. MEDITATE on the PRINCIPLES
We NEED to take time to read and “meditate” on God’s Words.
Notice the psalmist states a commitment to meditate on God’s Word.
He says, “I WILL!”
Christian, have YOU made a commitment to meditate on God’s Word?
II. APPLY the PRINCIPLES
It is through this commitment that we learn and instill God’s “precepts” (principles) into our lives.
WITHOUT this commitment, we cannot have “respect” to God’s “ways!”
Plan time each day to read and “meditate” on God’s Word.
Then, demonstrate your “respect” for God’s way by applying His principles to your life.
Love ya!
