THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

A legal firm decided to send flowers to an associate firm upon the opening of its new offices in another city.
There was a mistake made by the florist, and the ribbon which was on the flowers received by the associate firm read: "Deepest Sympathy."
The associate firm called the florist to inform them of their mistake. The florist let out a cry of alarm. "GOOD HEAVENS!" he exclaimed. "That must mean the flowers that went to the funeral said, "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW LOCATION!"

1 Tim 5:19-21
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

It has been a major concern lately that shoddy journalistic procedures are used by major news organizations in their bent to discredit our president who stands against terrorism and for the family.
For far too long, the Bible has been discredited and Christians maligned by major networks who seek to purport left-wing ideals. Impartial and factual reporting has been cast away like an old shoe, and slanted commentaries have been forced upon the public. But now, a major network has had to apologize for hasty, unproven stories.
Let us take a lesson. Accusations against leaders must not be accepted lightly without proper proof. In any reporting, factual information should be processed with great care and impartial treatment.
The "talebearer" willingly stands against God and His Word (Leviticus 19:16).
Anytime someone maligns the dignity and impunes the integrity of a leader, we should insistently question the facts, and be sure they are proven.
If the facts are proven, the leader should be "rebuked" publicly. But if the facts are not proven, the "teller" should be rebuked publicly.
Love ya,

If people never spoke until they were absolutely sure of the facts, many "talebearers" would lose their jobs.
