THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
We have an "all electric" home; everything is "charged."
Money may not buy happiness, but long-term leases are available.
We have a president that believe money still talks.
He just thinks you have to increase the volume to get the message through.

1 Tim 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Notice: the Bible does NOT say "money is the root of all evil!"
It is not having money, but loving money that is the problem.
The "love of money" is the problem!
The Greek term to express "love of money" is philarguria (fil-ar-goo-ree'-ah); and it means avarice, greed, or excessive desire.
To focus upon accumulation of wealth and disregard the joys of salvation in our Lord Jesus will cause two problems. Of course it might cause more, but there are two specific problems mentioned here.
The first problem is "to err from the faith." Anytime something causes you to leave Christ as the central focus of life, it is "missing the mark," or "walking the wrong path."
The second problem is "pierced ... through with many sorrows." Money itself does not cause this problem, it is the FOCUS upon money with avarice that causes one to have sorrow. The sorrows are: never getting enough money, losing money, or leaving it. Ya can't take it with ya!
Let us remember "....godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Tim 6:6)
Put Jesus in the center of your life's circle, and let everything else revolve around Him.
Love ya,
Bruce
