Mom told her son he must never do anything he wouldn't be willing for the whole world to see him do.
He said, "WHOOPPEE!! No more BATHS!"

Genesis 25
1 Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
2 And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. 3 And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
4 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.
6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

Abraham remarried after Sarah died, and lived another 35 years. Keturah gave Abraham comfort in his old age, and she also gave him six sons. But Abraham remembered that Isaac was the one appointed by God to be the heir. So Abraham gave gifts to the other sons and sent them away before he died.
Don't forget that Hagar, Abraham's second wife (while Sarah was alive) also had given him a son - Ishmael. This son was also been given gifts.
Abraham was careful to provide for ALL his children. However, he sought to avoid family squabbles, after his death, by rightfully choosing his principal heir before his demise. The property and authority were given to Isaac because he was God's chosen spiritual heir.
Parents, learn a lesson here from Abraham. Lawfully describe a will which accurately delineates all properties and possessions. This eliminates decisions which might cause family problems and promotes well-being among family members.
There are some very interesting facts here that are sometimes missed. When we are studying through the Bible, sometimes we "pass over" some really good information. For instance,
1) Midian inhabited the country NW of the Gulf of Aqabah, or
the Sinai Peninsula. That's where Moses went when he ran
from Pharoah (Ex. 2:15).
2) According to Ex. 2:16-18, Ruel (Jethro) became Moses'
father-in-law and was a "shepherd of God." So the
Midianites continued to worship God although they were
sent away before they learned very much from Abraham.
