In the courthouse, just above the door to the sign reads:

Genesis 24:61-67
61 And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way.
62 And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahai-roi; for he dwelt in the south country.
63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.
64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.
65 For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself.
66 And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.
67 And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.

Marriage to the right person is very, very important.
In the verses preceding our text, Abraham's servant asked a question which is being asked quite often today. "Suppose I don't FIND a wife in the church family? Can't I go somewhere else?" NO! NO! NO! that was Abraham's answer. And that should be our answer today. Here's the reason why.
I believe God's Word in 2 Cor 6:14 applies to marriage and also to business partnerships. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"
Our text today, in verse 64, describes Rebecca's respect for Isaac. When she found out who he was, she immediately LEPT down from the camel and adjusted her veil. Why did she show such respect? I believe it's because when she first saw him, he was PRAYING! See verse 63.
Young men and young ladies, it is very important to find a marital partner who has a genuine relationship with God! Our relationship with God should determine the manner of our relationships with others. If a person is not genuinely given to God, then we should not be married to, or in partnership with that person.
WATCH YOUR STEP!
This is why it is important for parents (and grandparents) to "DILIGENTLY TEACH" their children the Word of God (Deuteronomy 6:7).
