THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

The policeman couldn't believe his eyes!
He saw a woman drive past him on the freeway, busily knitting.

Quickly he pulled alongside the vehicle, rolled down his window and
shouted, "Pull over!"

"No," the women yelled back cheerfully, "Socks!"

Many folk are actually like the woman in the joke above.
They are multi-tasked, even at high risk.
Some, instead of knitting, are texting on the phone while driving.
Ya gotta admit, that's distracting! And it puts life at great peril!

Paul was multi-tasked too.
His whole life's purpose was to know and show CHRIST!
And, if that put his life in peril, it was ok with him.
Ya see, if life FOR Christ brought death, then he would go immediately to SEE Christ!

How many of us Christians are so focused on living FOR Christ?
Do we plan everything we do to know and show Christ?
This, and this alone, is the whole purpose of the born again Christian!

Arise in the morning thinking of Christ, praying, and studying.
Know Him more so you can show Him more in your daily life.
Be multi-tasked, but not distracted: plan all you do to glorify Jesus.
Make Christ your whole PURPOSE. THAT'S real life!
And, at the end of this life, you'll see Him Who IS life.

Love ya,
Bruce
