THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

His plane crashed in the desert. He'd been walking all day and all night. He was hot and thirst. OH! What he'd give for a drink of water!
Then he met a man with a suitcase. The man opened the suitcase and there were hundreds of ties in it. But he wouldn't purchase a tie. He asked where he could find water. The man with the suitcase said, "Just keep going due West."
Then he met another man with a suitcae. He also had hundreds of ties. But he wouldn't purchase a tie. He asked where he could find water. The man with the suitcase said, "Just keep going due West."
Soon, he came to an oasis. In the middle of the oasis was a fine restaraunt. He went quickly to the door. He could just taste a good cool glass of water. Just as he got to the door, a huge doorman stepped in front of him. "Sir, gentlemen MUST wear a tie befor entering!"

Millions of people are going through the "desert of life." When they come to the "end," at judgment day, they will find that they MUST wear Jesus in order to enter heaven.
The Holy Spirit of God and the church are calling out to passersby, telling them of the Gospel of Jesus today.
"Here, here is a Fountain. It contains LIVING WATER. ANYONE can come and drink! There is NO COST!"
But there are millions who will not stop to drink, even though they are thirsty for the Water of eternal life.
Some are passing by in their great robes of riches. They will not stop to drink from such a "common" Fountain. It is beneath them.
Some are passing by in their poorness. They may think surely the cost is too great, and they cannot afford it.
Some are passing by in their good works. They man think surely they do not have to come in the same manner the alcoholic, the drug addict, and the prostitute.
But God's Holy Spirit and the "bride of Christ" (the church) calls out to ALL who pass by: "WHOSOEVER will, COME! Come and take of the Water of life FREELY!"
All who would enter heaven MUST come in this manner - wearing CHRIST! There is "none other name under heaven, given among men whereby we MUST be saved." (Acts 4:12)
God's only requirement is genuine repentance from sinful self and surrender to Jesus as Lord.
