Today is different.
It's the beginning of a whole new year.
But today is the same.

God's "mercies" surround and sustain us.
Every day is that way, because God's "mercies" are "new every morning!"

If this were not true, we would be "consumed."
Because we are sinners ALL!
But to those whom God has chosen; to those who have surrendered to Christ,
His "compassions fail not!"

God's compassion toward the world of lost people do not fail either.
He surrounds us with His mercy.
He sustains us with His mercy.
All, so He can USE us as His MESSENGERS!

What did you SEE in 2008?
--Heads of stock exchange investment companies were wearing a new kind of "pin stripe" suit!
--Corporate magnates were falling like flies with charges of graft, corruption and downright theft from their own companies.
--People (as a nation) spent more money last year on gambling than on food.
--The abortion malady continues to be a serious issue in America today.
--War was declared.
--Homosexuality continued to be a problem with one major denomination naming an active homosexual as a bishop.

Many things happened in 2008 to get our ATTENTION! We, as Christians, need to make the MAIN THING the MAIN THING; in our lives and in our churches.

We should be excited about the imminent return of our Lord. He has PROMISED to come, and has never failed in any promise. He could come this year, or even this day!

This year: Let His new "mercies" every morning remind you to SHARE the Gospel every day!

Love ya,
Bruce
