THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
The babysitter was ill the day that Mom had her annual physical check up, so she took her 7-year-old son with her. While reviewing her chest x-rays, the curious child asked what all those "things" were.
The doctor explained, "They are your mother's bones."
The son asked, "Are you gonna put them back in?"

2 Cor 2:17
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
KJV

First, the Word of God is not ours; it is God's. He wrote it, we are sent to preach it. It is our duty to preach the truth as it is.
We should not only profess the Word, but also genuinely believe the truths found in it. If we genuinely believe the Bible, we will preach and teach it without corruption. We will explain it in a natural and obvious manner.
Second, the Word of God is incorruptible in itself. No passage of Scripture will disagree in truth from another passage. For the Bible is given by inspiration of God and is devoid of corruption by contradiction.
Let us then preach it as profitable and useful for our well-being. There is nothing superfluous about the Bible, for it is practical. Let us not corrupt the Bible by preaching it as mystical and cloudy.
Third, the Word of God is read, learned, taught, and preached in the sight of God Himself. There is no private interpretation of the Bible. We must first be born again, and earnestly seeking His will in order for HIS meaning to be placed in our hearts.
Jesus said, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26)
Let us then, not corrupt the Word of God by using it for our own means. Let us use it only to further the purposes for which it is intended: evangelism of the lost and education of the saved.
Indeed, let us remember, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
Love ya,
Bruce
