THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A young paratrooper was about to jump for his first time. He was given instructions: 1st, jump when you are told, 2nd count ten and pull the ripcord, 3rd, in the very unlikely even that the parachute doesn't open, pull the second chute ripcord, and 4th, when you land a truck will take you back to the base.
At the proper height, the door was opened on the plane and he was told to jump. After counting ten, he pulled the ripcord - but the chute did not open. He pulled the second ripcord, and that chute failed to open.
Then he said to himself, "Uh, huh! And I bet that truck ain't gonna be down there either!"

Ps 91:4-6
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Our Lord actively protects His children as a hen does her chicks.
Under "His wings" we have TRUST!
His "truth" is our "shield," or covering, in which we trust during satanic attacks.
We do not sleep in "terror by night," for we are comforted in His gentle care.
We do not fear the "arrow," or attack by day, for we know His presence and provision.
We are not overly concerned with "pestilence," for our time is in His hands.
We do not fear "destruction," for He has promised us eternal life!
We do not live in fear, for His "perfect love casteth out fear." (1 John 4:18)
Indeed, we are afraid of being afraid!
For this would imply distrust of our dear Savior!
Christ is "just," and the "Justifier" of all who believe in Him (Rom. 3:26).
So let us live in faith, not in fear.
For "the just shall live by his faith." (Hab. 2:4)
Love ya,
Bruce
