THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A man died and got to heaven. Of course, St. Peter met him at the pearly gates.
St. Peter said, "Here's how it works. You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you've done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was. When you reach 100 points, you get in."
"Okay," the man says, "I was married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated on her, even in my heart."
"That's wonderful," says St. Peter, "that's worth three points!"
"Three points?" he says. "Well, I attended church all my life and supported its ministry with my tithe and service."
"Terrific!" says St. Peter, "that's certainly worth a point."
"One point? Golly. How about this: I started a soup kitchen in my city and worked in a shelter for homeless veterans."
"Fantastic, that's good for two more points," he says.
"TWO POINTS!!" the man cries, "At this rate the only way I get into heaven is by the grace of God!"
"Come on in!"

There'll be a lot of praising God in heaven! "GLORY" will be given to our Lord Jesus every day, all day, forever!!
He is the High Priest!
He is the Creator!
He is the Sustainer!
He is the Eternal Savior!
He is the King of kings!
He is the Lord of lords!
We will praise Him "for EVER! AMEN!!"
The glory of His love overcame the cross!
The glory of His power overcame the grave!
The glory of His grace sought me to convict me!
The glory of His truth brought me to repentance!
The glory of His blood washed me clean!
The glory of His Spirit sealed me to eternity!
We will surely praise Him "for EVER! AMEN!"
Are we praising Him "now?" The manner in which we praise Him NOW is to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."
If we grow in the knowledge of Him, we will grow in grace toward others.
If we grow in the knowledge of Him, we will grow in praise of His Name.
Love ya,
Bruce
