THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Drug Enforcement Agents (DEA) arrived at the main house of a large Texas ranch.
They informed the owner that they were going to search all over his ranch for illegal substances.
He told them, "Sure. Go ahead. But you don't want to go in that fenced field over there."
Of course, they became indignant. They showed him their badges, and informed him they would go anywhere they wanted.
The old rancher went back to work, and left them to their inspection.
About an hour later, he heard some awful screaming and wailing coming from the fenced in field he'd warned them about. Quickly he ran over to the fence. He saw the three agents running for their lives from his prize bull!
They were losing ground!
The old rancher yelled, "Mebe ya oughta show him your badges!"

Jer 33:2-3
2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Well, I think the agents (above) should learn to pray QUICKLY!
Whatever there is troubling us, God is the "Maker" of prayer.
He has "formed" it, and He "establish(es)" it for our benefit.
God instructs us to "Call" upon Him.
He promises "I will answer thee."
As long as there is life on this earth, God has ordained prayer for believers.
He has promised that whatever we ask, "believing," He will answer (Matt. 21:22).
God also promises to show us "mighty things, which thou knowest not."
At the time God made that statement through Jeremiah, He was promising restoration to the nation! Even though they were facing destruction, God was promising the "mighty things" of restoration!
Certainly, the people could not know how God would restore them, but they were instructed to pray because He could restore them!
May I say that the ONLY hope of restoring our government to sanity is PRAYER!
Let us pray that God will do "mighty things," and restore our leadership to moral standards!
Love ya,
Bruce
