THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, looking at the old pages as he turned them. Then something fell out, and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.
"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.
"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked.
With astonishment in the his voice, he answered, "It's Adam's Suit!"

Yes, God provided Adam and Eve with a "suit." He came looking for them when they sinned and hid. He called to them until they came to Him. Then God provided a sacrifice for their sin, and a covering for their nakedness.

Adam & Eve were, and all Christians are "To the praise of the glory of His grace.."

We are called by His grace.
We are forgiven and saved by His mercy.
We are justified by His blood.
We are sanctified by His perfect being.
We are prepared for glory because of His completeness.

All of our salvation, from beginning to end, is "To the praise of the glory of His grace.."

We are "..accepted in the beloved." 1 Cor 3:23 says, "And ye are Christ's ; and Christ is God's."

We are wrapped in Him, enveloped in Him, washed by His blood, sealed in His Spirit, and delivered up to the throne of God without spot or wrinkle or any blemish!!

Everything we have and are belongs to Him.
And we should live accordingly in the world: "To the praise of the glory of his grace..."

Christian, let Christ be magnified, glorified in you today. All things are because of Him, and we are IN Him. Our acceptance before the throne of grace today, and our deliverance to eternal glory is in Christ.

So live to exemplify "..the praise of the glory of HIS grace..."

Love ya,
Bruce
