THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A man returned to the parking lot to find the fender on his car terribly smashed!
On the windshield was a note. It said,
"People around me saw when I hit your car. They probably think I'm writing down my address, phone, and insurance information. But I'm not."
There was nothing else on the note.

Mark 4:36-41
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

In answer to the question in verse 41, Squire Parsons writes:
"When He reaches down His hand,
Billows cease at His command.
Winds and waves obey His will,
When He says to them, 'Be still!'
'What Man is this?' they all did say,
'That the winds and sea obey?'
He's the One that sails with me.
He's the Master of the sea!"
Christ will never take us where He cannot keep us.
While the "storms of life" may toss us, our Master is never too far to hear the cry of His troubled children.
And, He is never too busy to answer with blessed assurance.
On the way to Heaven's great shore, there are many boisterous seas.
It is better to be with Christ in a small ship, than without Him in a huge liner.
We may not always be delivered FROM the storm, but we can certainly have peace WITHIN the storm.
The "PEACE! BE STILL!" of our Master's voice is as much for our heart as it is for the storm.
When your "little ship" is struck by one of life's boisterous storms, call upon the "Master of the sea!"
And remember, it is not long before His ship will guide your "little ship" to the Heavenly shore!
Love ya,
