THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><>
A lady worked for a veterinarian and was scheduled to have surgery on her knee the next day.
The veterinarian knew she was worried about the surgery, and wanted to assure her that things would work out.
Just before they closed the office that day, he said, "Alice, just turn your worries into prayers, get plenty of rest after the surgery, and........... don't lick your incision."

2 Tim 1:12
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Of all things we do best as humans, worry probably ranks right up toward the top! Life presents us with many little difficulties and problems. And we tend to magnify them by being overly concerned.
But as Christians, our lives are committed to Christ. And Christ is committed to giving us "life more abundantly" (John 10:10).
I'm quite sure this day will hold its share of "sufferings," as Paul said. However, Paul says, "I'm PERSUADED" that Christ is able to KEEP my physical life until it ends. And at the end, He is able to bring me to Him. When that happens there will be no more WORRY!
Things have a way of working out when we commit them to Christ in prayer and act according to His direction through Bible study.
Today, be PERSUADED that Christ is "working all things together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His pupose." (Romans 8:28)
Love ya,
