THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

A new coach had been hired for the professional football team. They had been experiencing a bad season. As with all football teams, if they didn't win, the coach would be replaced. To succeed in football you must win.
In the desk drawer of his office he found three envelopes addressed to him. He opened the first one, and it said, "When you get in trouble this season - open the second envelope."
The team lost the first game and the owner was really angry. So the coach opened the second envelope. It was a letter of encouragement telling him that he should blame everything on the old coach. So the coach made a press release saying that the loss was due to the former coach.
The team lost the second game, and the owner was REALLY angry. So the coach opened the third envelope. It said, "Prepare 3 envelopes!"

Isa 62:10-12
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

In the game of life, we are always losing to sin. But God has ALWAYS had a plan to save us out of our trouble.
Isaiah says to prepare the way for the Lord, King Jesus IS coming! This was the call of John the Baptist prior to Jesus' earthly ministry. It is the call of Christians TODAY!
God's promise holds true until the "end of the world." Jesus will come and rule over the earth 1,000 years.
Those who belong to Jesus will be called "holy people," and "the redeemed of the Lord." They are redeemed, bought with His blood. And they are holy, robed in His righteousness.
God is calling people today! The saved are people who have been "sought out" by the Lord. They are His dwelling place.
And they will NOT be forsaken!
Let us who are redeemed "prepare the way" for Jesus' coming. Let us continually call to others that they might be the dwelling place of Christ today.
