Ps 68:9-10
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

Psalm 68 may have been written when God allowed David to bring the Ark to the tent David had set up in Zion.
The psalm begins with prayer, proceeds to praise and then to prophecy.
But here, in verses 9-10, David is praising God for provision. Perhaps David was remembering Deut. 28:12, where God promised to send the rain for His people and bless their crops at appropriate times. When the people were weary from "dry" times, God sent the rain.
Verse 10 reflects the fact that Israel lived inside God's provision. He knew what they needed, and had provided it for them beforehand.
When Israel was "poor," and enslaved to the Egyptians, God provided emancipation.
When Israel was "poor," and in the wilderness, God provided ALL their needs.
When Israel was "poor," and without a national home, God provided Canaan.
All these things God provided beforehand for His people because He knew they would need them.
And, yes, dear Christian, God is aware of ALL your needs ALL the time!
When you were "poor," and enslaved to sin, God sent a Savior!
When you were "poor," and without knowledge of the Savior, God sent a messenger.
When you were "poor," and without repentance, God sent you conviction.
When you were "poor," and without commitment, God called you to it by His Spirit.
Think not that when you are "poor," and in trouble today that God did not know it beforehand!
He will today provide you "mercy and grace to help in time of need." (Heb. 4:16)
Be assured today that God has blessings stored up and provided for you!
Love ya,
Bruce
