THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

The Sunday School teacher asked the class, "Who led the children of Israel across the Red Sea?"
No one seemed to know the answer, because they all just sat quietly.
The teacher waited, and looked around the room. Finally her gaze fell on a little boy who was visiting. He said, "It wasn't me! We just moved here from Arkansas!"

Heb 12:27
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Some things can be shaken. Your home can be shaken with an earthquake or a devastating hurricane. Your job can be shaken if your company moves or goes bankrupt. Your money can be shaken with the erosion of inflation. Your strength and health can be shaken with a heart attack or stroke.
All things physical can be shaken! He that "speaketh" has made it so because He is the One Who SPOKE the physical into being. And His "voice then shook the earth" while He was creating and forming it. And one day, perhaps soon, He shall speak again and not only earth shall be shaken, "but also heaven."
God's WORD created the physical, and He can REMOVE the physical. But His WORD can never be shaken! And there are things BY His Word which "cannot be shaken."
Think of some of those things which "cannot be shaken."
Your salvation can never be shaken, because it is founded in God and not of man.
Your adoption can never be shaken, because it is through the resurrected Savior.
Your name in heaven can never be shaken, because it is written in the blood of Christ.
Your being sealed in God's Holy Spirit can never be shaken, it is of GOD!
The love of God toward you can never be shaken, because God has said, "My beloved is mine, and I am His!"
Our greatest and richest treasures are those things that "cannot be shaken" and they shall forever "remain!"
Our lives are secure in the Lord's Almighty hand!
Our hope is above the heaven at the Lord's eternal throne!
Our joy is in His Word, which is NEVER shaken!
Love ya,
