THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A collector of rare books ran into an acquaintance who told him he had just thrown away an old Bible that he found in a dusty, old box. He happened to mention that Guten-somebody-or-other had printed it.
"Not Gutenberg?" gasped the collector.
"Yes, that was it!"
"Oh! MY! You've thrown away one of the first books ever printed. A copy recently sold at auction for half a million dollars!"
"Oh, I don't think this book would have been worth anything close to that much," replied the man. "It was scribbled all over in the margins by some guy named Martin Luther."

The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Sometimes we allow our thoughts to turn negative.
We tend to think more of experiencing difficulties than we think of how God has delivered us through them.
But let us gladly say that God has been gracious to us.
He has given us better than we deserve.
Our sins called for punitive judgment, but God gave us GRACE!
Let us remember how His grace found us, called us and offered His forgiveness.
Let us remember how God's presence has taken every step with us.
His Spirit caught us.
His Word has taught us.
His eternal hope keeps us.
Certainly we experience difficulties in our lives.
But let the testimony of our mouth be that God's love and kindness has delivered us each time, and will deliver us until there is no more time.
"The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad!"
Love ya,
Bruce
