THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
I'm sorry, but there is simply no joke that will lighten the gravity of this situation!
New York State Governor, David Paterson, recently made a decision to recognize
out-of-state "marriages" of homosexuals.
This week, he instructed the department of health to place the names of both homosexual partners on the birth certificates of children, newly born to those illicit unions!
WHERE is the "will of the people" in this?
How can one man make such licentious decisions for the people of his State?

Same-sex marriages have been recognized in Massachusetts since November 18, 2003, and in Connecticut since October 10, 2008. Same-sex marriage only has effect at the state level because the U.S. federal government does not recognize same-sex marriages under federal law, in accordance with the Defense of Marriage Act.
Vermont, New Jersey and New Hampshire have created legal unions that, while not called marriages, are explicitly defined as offering all the rights and responsibilities of marriage under state (though not federal) law to same-sex couples. Maine, Hawaii, the The District of Columbia, Oregan and Washington have created legal unions for same-sex couples that offer varying subsets of the rights and responsibilities of marriage under the laws of those jurisdictions.
On May 15, 2008 the Supreme Court of California ruled that excluding same-sex couples from marriage is unconstitutional, effectively creating same-sex marriage in California.
I agree that homosexuals need to be reached for Christ.
I agree that Jesus can, and will, forgive anyone of any sins, based on the condition of repentance (see
Mark 1:15,
Luke 13:3,
John 3:3, 2Cor. 7:10).
However, this continued sin was the reason for God destroying Sodom and Gomorrah!
We must, under directive from our Lord, speak to the homosexual concerning repentance and salvation (Matt. 28:18-20).
However, also according to His directives, we must speak against the promotion of such sin (See Gal. 6:1, Eph. 5:11,
2Tim. 4:2, 2Tim. 2:25).
