THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Boudreaux, lived in Southern Louisiana, and was more friendly than most folk. Every day, he'd go down to the bus station, just to meet the folk traveling through.
One day, Boudreaux saw a man with a poodle. Now Boudreaux, being a country boy, had never seen a dog like that before.
He walked up to the man, and asked, "Wowsee! Whut kinda dawg that is?"
The man wasn't friendly at all, and turned his back on Boudreaux. But Boudreaux just walked around in front of the man and asked, "Whut kinda dawg you got dere?"
Again, the man turned his back. And again, Boudreaux went around to the man's face. "Say, whut kinda dawg you got dere?"
The man, obviously perturbed, said, "You want to know what kind of dog this is? He is half Cajun and half fool!"
Boudreaux said, "AH! ME! He is kin to bof of us, huh?"

Jeremiah 1:4-6
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

As God's Word began to pour into Jeremiah's heart, he felt that he was too young to speak out (verse 6). It seems, throughout the Bible, that those whom God genuinely called, always felt a sense of unworthiness and inability. They felt that, even though they spoke the truth of God, it would not be accepted because of their weaknesses.
But God told Jeremiah one of the most important things that people and political leaders of today need to realize. God said that even BEFORE Jeremiah was conceived, God KNEW him and "sanctified...and ..ordained.." him as a prophet!
Every Christian needs to speak the Word of God, knowing that they are "sanctified...and..ordained!"
Whether people accept the Word of God as truth is between them and God. But, for those called, the Word of God is to be spoken.
My friends, God looked down through time BEFORE He created time. And He saw you and me and every person that ever has come or will come into this world. He knows our lives before we are born!
Another important thing our political leaders need to understand today is that God told Jeremiah HE formed him in the womb! It is GOD Who causes conception!
Now I realize that there is a great question in some people's minds about rape and incest. But God KNOWS the lives of people. God KNOWS the events of history. God KNOWS how every baby is conceived and born. Even though conception may begin in an evil manner, God knows how to bring GOOD out of it!
EVERY baby is precious! This is the truth of God, and every Christian is called to speak it!
When we come to know God personally, we are face-to-face with our weaknesses and inabilities; because we are face-to-face with the Almighty God.
But we are "sanctified...and ..ordained.." to speak the Word of God irregardless of our weaknesses and inabilities.
Love ya,
