THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Angelina was going into labor.
Bubba, her husband, called 911.

The operator said, "We'll send an ambulance right away. What's the address?"

Bubba said, "210 Eucalyptus drive."

Operator, "Would you spell that for me, please?"

Bubba, "Uh...I'll just take her over to my sister's house....415 Oak St."

THOUGHT_________________________________________________________

Perhaps, late at night, you're sitting on your back porch.
A meteorite, about 30 feet wide and 30 feet high, suddenly lands in your back yard.
The impact of the meteorite with the ground shakes your house.
Fire flames up.
A cloud of smoke drifts over your back porch and chokes you.

Do you have to spell meteorite in order to tell someone what you experienced?
Do you have to understand how the meteorite came to your yard to share?

Now, you Christian, have met Jesus Christ.
You realize that He came to pay the price for your sins.
You surrender to Him as Lord of your life.

Then, His Holy Spirit enters your heart and everything changes.
Suddenly, life is exciting!
Prayer becomes an important part of your daily routine.
You can't wait to study your Bible every day.
Church attendance becomes a desire to you.
Peace fills your heart, so that you no longer fear death.

Do you have to spell salvation in order to tell someone what you experienced?

Don't worry about how you spell it.
Just tell it!

Love ya,
Bruce
