In order to become spiritually strong we must seek the spiritual welfare of others. In watering others, we are watered ourselves!
Phil Morgan, of Phil and Pam Morgan (www.PhilandPamMorgan.com), wrote an inspirational message the other day that really impressed me. Phil and Pam are great inspirational singers.
Both write inspirational messages in their monthly newsletter at times.
Phil said he had taken Pam to lunch, and he went to wash up in the bathroom. Inside the restroom was a little boy at the sink with his dad. The little guy bounced with excitement as Dad helped him dry his hands. He looked up at Phil and nearly shouted, “HI! I GET A NEW TOY CAUSE I JUST WENT POOPIE IN THE POTTY!!!”
Phil went on to say, "We as Christians do have good news. Something amazing has happened to us and if we really understand it, we’ll be bouncing with excitement.
It is too good to keep to ourselves, we’ve got to tell somebody!
God brought me into that bathroom at just the right moment so that little boy could share his news and God could get the message of this devotion into my heart. God will bring the right people into your path so you can share your good news and He can get his message of love into their hearts. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” - 1 Peter 3:15
An amazing thing has happened to you. It’s too good to keep to yourself. Go tell somebody!!"
Ordinary things that happen bring excellent opportunities to witness for Christ.
