I keep thinkin', "What kind of example have I been for my son and daughter?"
I keep thinkin', "What kind of example have I been for my church members?"
I keep thinkin', "What kind of example have I been for my co-workers?"
Perhaps, if I spent more time considering those things, I would do a better job of keeping my "soul diligently!"
Perhaps, if I spent more time considering how MUCH God has done for me,
and how LITTLE I've done for Him, I'd be more focused on not letting His teachings "depart from" my heart!
Maybe, if I pay more attention to how I live EACH day for the Lord, I can be of more USE to Him.
Maybe I'm not through teaching my son and daughter.
Surely, I can do a better job teaching my grandchildren.
Yup!
Sure need to "take heed" to myself concerning God's Word and the manner in which I live this life!
