THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Two blondes really got into bird hunting and were eager to try it out for themselves.
They had read that a birddog is a great and useful accessory in bird hunting, so they decided to go to the pet shop and buy one.
They asked for a well-trained birddog, and got one. The two blondes immediately went to the woods to try it out. The dog didn't work. No matter how hard they tried, the dog just didn't follow their commands.
They became really frustrated and one of the blondes said to her companion, “Okay, we'll give him one more try. We'll throw him in the air one more time and if he doesn't fly, we're gonna RETURN him to the store!”

Isa 44:22
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Our "transgressions" are like a "thick cloud."
Our "sins" are also like a cloud.
They once blocked us from the face, presence, and grace of God.
But Jesus won the victory through the cross and resurrection!
And when we surrendered to Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God "blotted" them all out!
God didn't reach down with a finger and flick the clouds away.
He didn't blow a mighty wind that removed them.
He came personally, and with His own blood "blotted" them OUT!
They are no longer there!
They cannot return!
God has not only ransomed us from the market place of sin.
He has "redeemed" us!
He has made us new, as if nothing ever separated us!
Believers, let our souls "return" to this thought each day!
Let us realize afresh and anew, the wonderful relationship we have with Him!
When we have difficult times, we cannot say God is not "close."
That dog won't fly!
It is WE who need to "draw nigh unto God," and He will "draw nigh" unto us!
Love ya,
Bruce
