THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
An usher was dispatched quickly to the front of the dark theatre.
Someone reported there was a man down on his knees crawling around.
After finding him, the usher said, "Sir, you're disturbing several people around you. What's the problem."
The man answered, "I'm trying to find my gum."
The usher said, "Sir, if that's your problem, please let me give you a new stick of gum!"
The man, still crawling around, said, "But you don't understand. My false teeth are in that gum! Without them, I can't eat any popcorn!"

The verse above describes fully God's ministry in the flesh.
His dual purpose was and is to "seek and to save" the lost.
To Jesus, it didn't matter if He must come into the world filthy with sin.
It didn't matter what a person had been, or done.
His purpose was the same, and His life was built around that purpose.
To Jesus, you and I, and all the people of the world were worth His effort!
Christians, are lost people worth that much effort to you today?
Jesus said, "Ye are the salt of the earth." (Matt. 5:13)
Jesus said, "Ye are the light of the world." (Matt. 5:14)
Jesus said, "Go YE therefore..." (Matt. 28:19)
Jesus' dual purpose is OUR dual purpose!
It should be THE focal ministry of the church, the "body of Christ" (1Cor. 12:27) on earth today!
Are our lives built around that purpose?
Do we make it our central focus?
Let us first get on our knees.
Then, we'll begin to look "that which was lost."
Love ya,
Bruce
