THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A doctor, relaxing at home, had a sneezing fit.
Just then, the phone rang. Though his voice was abnormally high, he answered the phone.
Then he grabbed his medical bag, and headed for the door.
He yelled an explanation to his teenage daughter, "Some man just said he couldn't live without me. I've gotta go!"
His daughter followed him out toward the car.
She said, "Dad, I think that call was for me!"

2 Cor 4:14-15
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

The "glory of God" is such that, though He knew our willful sin, He created us and formed a plan for our redemption!
The "glory of God" is such that He can give up being Who He is long enough to come to a cross and become what we need!
The "glory of God" is far above His majesty, beauty and splendor!
It is His: love for us, His mercy toward us, and His commitment to us!
And one wonderful day, "...He which raised up the Lord Jesus" from the grave
"shall raise up us also!"
Then, He shall "present" us in the beauty of His heavenly home.
And there, we shall see and know fully, "the glory of God!"
ALL things God has done, is doing and will do are for "the glory of God."
OH! How "abundant" is His grace toward us!
OH! How we should be praising Him with "thanksgiving!"
THEN, we perform the purpose for which we were created!
Then, we make superfluous "the glory of God!"
Today, Christian, the call to "redound to the glory of God" is for YOU!
Love ya,
Bruce
