Mark 4:37-39
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

There are many REWARDS of living with and for Christ.
There are three of those rewards I want to talk to you about here.
First, though "storms" are inevitable, you will be able to endure them.
The difficulties in your life do not take Jesus unaware. And He gives you FAITH to endure!
Second, even in the "storms of life", you can enjoy the genuine pleasures of life.
You have Jesus! He gives forgiveness and peace. Therefore, life is happier.
Third, the "storms of life" help you to enrich others. Each storm gives you experience from which you can help others as they face similar difficulties.
As God "comforts" you in tribulation, you'll be able to comfort others (2Cor 1:3-4).
When you face the "storms of life," call on Christ to help.
The lasting effects of allowing Christ to speak to your "storms of life" are:
peace and calm.
Love ya,
Bruce
