THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A great and very rich man had a son who went off to war and was killed in action.
Many years later the man died, and left a will.
The will stated that, since he had no heirs, all his possessions would be auctioned.
At the beginning of the auction was an immature painting, not professional at all.
The man had painted a portrait of his son in uniform.
No one bid on the painting.
The auctioneer tried several times.
Finally, the old man’s chauffeur bid $1.
The auctioneer, said “SOLD for $1!!”
Then he said, “Now, the auction is CLOSED!”
Some complained because there were many other items including the great house and automobiles.
But the auctioneer held up the will, and said,
“It states plainly in here, ‘whoever takes the son gets ALL!’”

When Jesus gave Himself, He gave all rights and privileges which belong to Him to those who surrender to Him.
Jesus is the “Mediator,” the Head, of the covenant of grace.
That covenant extends to ALL who take Him as Lord of their lives.
Jesus entered into glory for Himself AND for us!
“Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus...” Heb. 6:20.
He stands in the presence of Holy God today for us!
“For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself,
now to appear in the presence of God for us:” Heb. 9:24.
Our forgiveness is by His Namesake (1John 2:12).
Our sanctification is by Him Who keeps us from falling (Jude 24).
Our justification and righteousness is by Christ alone (2Cor. 5:21).
Our eternal citizenship is secured in Him alone (Philippians 1:6)(Eph. 1:11).
“ALL are yours” because He gave Himself FOR those who surrender to Him!
Believer, you have rights which no country can bestow upon you!
The rights of:
instant access to God through prayer (Heb. 4:16),
illumination of the Scriptures by His Holy Spirit (John 14:26),
knowing the mind and will of Christ (1Cor. 2:16),
AND, the right of being His ambassador to the world (2Cor. 5:20).
“YE are CHRIST’s!”
Knowing Him, believing in Him, trusting Him,
Let us LIVE for Christ!
