THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Bob's wife came in and said, "Honey, there's water in the carburetor of the car."

Bob said, "Aw, Honey. You don't even know what a carburetor looks like. Where's the car?"

She said, "It's in the swimming pool behind the garage."

Christians, if we allow our minds to think always in terms of the world, our actions will soon be ike the world.

But, if we desire the "sincere milk of the Word" (1Pet. 2:2), our minds will be "transformed."
And, we will think in spiritual terms.

In Bible Study at Crossroads Baptist Church Monday evening, Bro. Tommy Nelson used a good example. When you place a hand into a glove, the glove conforms to the hand. And, the glove will move as the hand guides it.

So it is with God's Word.
The more of His Word we put in our minds, the more we are guided by His thoughts.
Then, we will "prove," or show in our lives the "will of God."

Don't let the water of the world corrupt the use of your "carburetor" (mind).
Instead, study the Word of God, and Christ will cleanse your mind by the "washing of water by the Word" (Eph. 5:26).

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God." (2 Tim 2:15)

Love ya,
Bruce
