THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
You must have learned from other's mistakes.
You haven't had time to think up all those yourself!
A pastor was visiting an elderly member.
She said, "Soon, I shall be rocking in the bosom of Moses."
He said, "I'm sorry, but the Bible says that's 'the bosom of Abraham.'"
She said, "At my age, on doesn't care who's bosom it is, as long as they belong to the Lord!"

Ps 145:4-5

In verse 4 above, the psalmist makes a statement of factual truth.
This is the manner in which families of God are perpetuated.
This is the manner in which the church is propagated and continued.
"One generation" tells the next generation.
There are many places in the Bible that proclaim this same truth.
(Exodus 13:14, Deuteronomy 6:7, Joshua 4:6-7, Joel 1:3, 2Timothy 2:2, and others)
Praise God for fathers and mothers who proclaimed Christ to their children.
Praise God for churches which are faithful in teaching the truth of Christ to others.
Without these, how would we have know we are lost sinners in need of a Savior?
In verse 5 above, the psalmist makes a personal commitment.
"I will..." carry on this truth!
"I will..." teach my children and grandchildren!
"I will..." teach the truth of Christ to others!
The factual truth remains: Without telling there is no continuing.
Have you made your personal commitment?
Love ya,
Bruce
