become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.

LIGHT from the WORD.
Do you believe Jesus Christ?
Have you received Jesus Christ?
Have you been "born again" not of the will of man, "but of God?"
If your answer is "YES!" then, what have you received?
LIFE
"He that hath the Son hath LIFE;" (1John 1:12).
You have received the REAL LIFE of genuine and constant
communion with God Himself!
ADOPTION
You are given the power to become "sons of God."
Cleansed by the blood of Christ, you are "accepted in the Beloved."
(Eph. 1:16)
SONSHIP
You are no longer a generic "son of God" (offshoot of Adam),
but a genuinely received child under His protectorate,
and given His provision.
HEIRSHIP
Having received "sonship" in Christ, you have received "heirship"
to all that He has!
What a staggering thought!!
POWER
God is omnipotent.
Christ is omnipotent.
The power to do right, "to will and to do" according to God's
purposes is IN you! (Philippians 2:13)
And most important of all, you have received LOVE!
You have received the endless, inexpendable love of God!
You can bask in the immenseness of His undying and Fatherly care.
And you can GIVE that love away endlessly, yet it will still be yours!
Today, try giving away what you have received.
That's what Christ did!
Just as it is always His, it will always be yours!
