THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
It was art time in the kindergarten class. All the children were drawing with crayons, and the teacher was walking around the room watching.
She stopped by Tina, who was drawing furiously.
"Tina," asked the teacher, "what are you drawing?"
Tina said, "God."
The teacher said, "Well, that will be hard to do. No one has ever seen God. And no one knows what He looks like."
Tina said, "They will when I'm through!"

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

The newest art student, with pencil and paper, certainly cannot be a Rembrandt or a Michael Angelo! But if that student has no desire, he can draw nothing!
We are told in the verse above to "...walk in the light, as He is in the light..."
Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matt. 5:48).
And, no, we cannot!
But if we do not have the desire, we'll only be crude!
It is with the desire to be like our Lord that we are filled with His grace!
God gives "more grace ... unto the humble" (James 4:6).
Let us then perceive that to "...walk in the light, as He is in the light..." means:
to be trying!
Practice never really makes perfect.
But perfection demands practice!
Love ya,
