THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The optometrist said that times are changing.
In the old days, when people came to get glasses, they were complaining about having trouble reading their Bibles.
But now they come complaining about having trouble seeing TV or reading the racing forms!

Prov 2:1-5
1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

It's a troubled world in which we live.
We come face-to-face with traumatic situations each day -- even death.
The old song says, "In times like these, we need an ANCHOR!"
Of course, Jesus is the Anchor of our lives.
What are you doing with your glasses, eyes?
Where's your FOCUS?
Jesus said, "I am in the Father, and the Father in me:" (John 14:11).
Therefore, to know Jesus is to know God.
And the way we learn MORE of Him is to learn more of His WORD!
To learn more of God's Word is to:
"incline thine ear unto wisdom,"
"apply thine heart to understanding."
God offers REAL PEACE in a troubled world!
REAL PEACE comes by knowing Jesus, and knowing that, no matter what else, we shall spend eternity with Him!
Seek after knowing Christ MORE by studying His Word.
Make it a PRIMARY function in your life.
