THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

We probably shouldn't preoccupy our time with trying to gain success.

Even if we obtain it:
Someone else will get the credit,
And, the government will get the cash!

SCRIPTURE_____________________________________________________

Prov 24:23-25
23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
25 But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

I pray God's blessings will accompany the rebuke presented here.

It is WRONG for a person in authority to say that the "wicked" are "righteous."

Yesterday, the leaders of our country worked on Sunday; the day that the majority of our citizens deem a "holy day."
Judges (and/or presidents, kings, senators and congressmen) are not to allow the power of the wicked to sway judgment.
They are given the responsibility from God to DETER evil through the use of practical judgment.

The legislation passed puts into law a practice we cannot presently afford, and for which we have no ability to earn substantial payment.
That legislation also provides funding for the murder of innocent babies.

But then, our Scripture says, "These things also belong to the WISE."
Have we elected WISE people for leadership?

"Historic" legislation? Yes.
However, it is also legislation which goes against common sense, for it sets our country on the road to bankruptcy.
And, it also flies in the face of God, for it provides appreciable funding to destroy those who might otherwise pay in the future.

Again, may God add His blessings to His rebuke!

Love ya,
Bruce
