THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A woman placed an order with a large mail order company.
Several weeks later, she received the following response:
"Thank you for your order. Recent improvements in our shipping procedures may cause a delay in shipping."

Jude 24-25
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling,

The perfection of saints may be somewhat delayed, but it is absolutely SURE!

Just think about that word "faultless!"
Can you imagine being without blame,
"a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but holy and without blemish."?
That's what Ephesians 5:27 says!

We can never reach that elevated goal on our own.
But one day our Lord will accomplish it FOR us!
He has, by Himself, accomplished payment for our sins, atonement before our Holy God, and sanctification for today's use.
One day, He will accomplish glorification entirely!

We will be absolutely clothed in His righteousness!
We will be made unblameable and unreprovable in His eyes!
We will be perfect in the sight of God!
And it will not be by our works that this is accomplished, but by the work of Christ our Lord.

Now if that thought don't light yore lantern, then yore wick is wet!!

That's what it means to be "accepted in the Beloved." (Eph. 1:6)
That's what it means to "know even as I also am known." (1Cor. 13:12)

The good news is:
today, our righteousness seems as "filthy rags" before Him (Is. 64:6).
But He counts us already robed in His glorious righteousness.
You see, He is "able to keep you from falling," and He is able "to present you faultless" even TODAY!

And all the glory can only go to Jesus Who has paid the price for such a marvelous presentation of sinners as saints!

We are not yet perfect.
But we are being made perfect.
And one day, praise Jesus, we will be perfect!

Now I said all that to say this: God has said it, let us live as if we believe it!

Love ya!
