LINK TO JESUS FOR REAL LIFE
This we believe:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is God's revelation of Himself to mankind.
(Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalm 19:7-10; Psalm 119:89; Luke 21:33; 2Timothy 3:15-16)
There is only one omniscient, omnipotent, eternally existent and Holy God Who is perfect in unison and reveals Himself in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:11; John 1:1-3, 14; Hebrews 1:1-3; Matthew 1:18-23; John 4:23; Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 5:9-14)
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died vicariously upon the cross atoning for man's sins, was resurrected from the grave, ascended into heaven and is returning again.
(Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 2:1-14; John 20:30; Acts 1:10; Acts 2:22-24; Hebrews 1:9-10; Hebrews 10:14)
Salvation is offered by God's grace to all mankind, received by personal surrender to Christ, and eternally kept by God Himself.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Luke 9:23; John 10:25-26; Romans 10:9-10, 13; Ephesians 1:13)
There is one baptism for all believers by God's Holy Spirit placing us in the "Body of Christ;" and water baptism is a symbol of the believer having died to self, been buried with Christ, and raised to live a new life by His power.
(1Corinthians 12:13; Romans 6:4-6; Ephesians 4:4-6; Ephesians 6:13-18; Colossians 1:27-28)
The church is a living organism composed of committed, baptized believers pursuing the edict of Christ.
(Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:20-23; Ephesians 3:9-12; Ephesians 4:1-3; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 10:24-25)
Without question, Jesus stated the imperative of evangelism of the lost, and this is the primary mission of every believer in the church.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16; Romans 10:13-15)
The second priority of the church is to educate the saved for the purpose of living in faith and propagating the gospel.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesian 3:14-19; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 1:28-29)
