HI!

A businessman was being audited by the IRS.
Early on the morning of the interview, his accountant came and picked him up.
He drove the businessman to the IRS office.

When they got to the door, the accountant said, "Ok. As your tax consultant I promised to go with you to the IRS office.”
The man said, “But, you’re supposed to go with me!”

Accountant: “But I never said anything about going in!"

Isa 3:10
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him:
for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
KJV

THOUGHT____________________________________

At the time of the statement in our text, Isaiah was preaching about the Jewish people being taken into captivity because of their sin of idolatry.
Yet he says, "...the righteous, ... it shall be well with him."

Really?
Would it be "well" when he lost everything he owned and became a slave to a foreign nation?
Would it be "well" with him when he saw his wife and children put in chains and carried away?
Would it be "well" with him when he saw the town he loved destroyed and the temple of God torn down?

Yes!
It shall be "well" with the "righteous" when he is in prosperity or poorness.
It is "well" with him when he is in good health or bad health.
It is "well" with him when he is accepted or persecuted.
It is "well" with him at ALL times! Because....

He partakes of the "fruit" of his "doings."
And all his "doings" are with God and of God.
His greatest assurance is that God will be WITH him, no matter what the circumstances may be.
His constant pleasure is to be in the presence of God and accepted by God's mercy, grace, and forgiveness.
His constant peace is to know that God provides the best for him at any moment.
His constant joy is to know that he is being used as a tool in God's hands, and for His glory.

"When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrow like sea billows roll,
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul!"

Oh, my friend, how is it with YOU today?
Are you secure in the imputed righteousness of Christ?
Are you pleasantly employed in His presence and purpose?

No matter what the world does, no matter what the devil says; if your "doings" are with God, then it is WELL with your soul.
You have it upon DIVINE AUTHORITY.
