THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The person who has the secured hope of the Lord finds a
constant source of strength.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye
heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
The hope of eternal life is SECURED!
It is “laid up for you in heaven” by Christ Himself.
Jesus paid for it in blood, and secured it by His resurrection.
The hope of eternal life is PROCLAIMED!
It is “in the word of the truth of the gospel.”
(John 3:16, John 5:24, John 11:26)
The hope of eternal life is STRENGTH!
Meditating upon what Christ says we SHALL be invigorates our hearts.
Here we face temptations, weakness, difficulties, sorrow.
There all those will be GONE!
Because there’ll be no sin there. (Rev. 21:4)
Here sin brings constant grief.
But there nothing shall enter which “defileth.” (Rev. 21:7)
While we are facing the problems of this day,
let us meditate on this lively hope that Christ has placed within us.
This will give us strength for each day.
