DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

It’s the “little things” that count.
Sometimes little things become BIG things!

A man was having problems with his car.
Every time he made a sharp turn, he would hear a “clunk”
in the back of the car.
Finally, he took it to the mechanic shop.

A few minutes later, the mechanic came out and did a
“test drive” in his car.
He came back soon, and parked the car in the repair bay.

In just a few minutes, he brought the car out, and gave
the man a bill for $50.00.

The man said, “Wow. Must have been something small.
Only $50.00!”

The mechanic pointed to the bill.
There was a one-line explanation.
“Blocked bowling ball from rolling in trunk.”

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth
labourers into his harvest.

THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

Prayer is connecting with God through trust in Christ,
and our faith is energized by His response.
Without prayer, we lose our connection with God in trust,
and our faith is NOT energized!

This is why Paul encourages us to “pray without ceasing.”
(See 1Thess. 5:17)
When we are in a constant attitude of prayer, our connection
with God remains strong, and our faith is constantly energized.

We are instructed to pray not only for ourselves, but for others.
Pray for our leaders. (See 1Tim. 2:2)
Pray for those who are ill, or having difficulties in their lives.
(See James 5:15)
Pray in order to resist temptation. (See Matt. 26:41)
(Matthew 26:41)
Pray for the lost to be saved. (See 2Cor. 5:20)
Pray for fellow Christians to be strengthened. (See Eph. 3:14-19)

And, in the Scripture of our text above:
pray for new evangelistic-minded Christians to enter the workforce!
THAT, my Christian friends is a BIG thing!(See 1Tim. 2:2)

Currently there are almost 7BILLION people in the world!
Of those, approximately less than 1/4 are professing Christians.
Truly, the fields are “white already to harvest!” (See John 4:35)

We need more LABORERS in the field!

Yes, that “little thing” of prayer is a BIG thing!!

Love ya!
