BRUCE MCGEE MINISTRIES
Gary Godard Chief Technical Officer
Brad Wilcox received a “B-“ on a theme paper in high school.
It was Valentine’s Day.
Brad thought he might better his grade by sending the teacher
He bought a big red box of chocolates.
Across the top he placed the letters, “BE MINE!”
Next day, he received a valentine from the teacher.
A note was written on the inside.
“Thanks! But it’s still B MINUS!”
1 Cor 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant,
5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own,
is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.
LIGHT from the WORD.
In the above Scripture, the Greek word from which “love”
is translated is agape.
It is the kind of love that gives without thought of return.
It is the kind of love that spends self to aid others.
God gave this kind of love to ALL mankind.
He KNEW that love would not be returned by ALL!
Now that's REAL LOVE!!
Aren't you glad God exhibited His love in a manner
that cannot be misunderstood?
God, in Jesus Christ, GAVE Himself for YOU!
RETURN His LOVE!
GIVE yourself to HIM!
Give yourself to SERVING Him in this world!
