THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
There should be a time in each day that we have silence and no speech.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Eating is not always healthy, because we don’t always eat properly.
And, the act of eating isn’t what strengthens our bodies.
It is digestion that breaks the food down, and strengthens us.
So it is with God’s Word.
We need time to “meditate” on God’s Word.
We need time to “delight” in God’s Word.
This time should be set aside each day; when we just study and
think about God’s Word.
This time will help us to “have respect unto Thy (God’s) ways.”
This time will help us to “not forget Thy (God’s) Word.”
Meditation will move the Word of God into our hearts where it will
give us strength and wisdom.
