THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Sometimes children have better vision than we think.

One little girl had just finished her first week of school.
She told her mom, “I’m just wasting my time!”

Mom asked, “Why do you say that dear?”

She said, “Well, I can’t read; I can’t write, and
they won’t let me talk!”

LIGHT from the WORD.

That word "judgeth" in the Scripture above
is translated from the Hebrew shaphat.
It literally means to govern -- and to do that
by either contending or defending.

Jesus is the King Who "faithfully judgeth"!
He knows just how to contend with or defend His children!
And, He is ALWAYS loving!

Abraham repeatedly showed weakness in lying,
Sarah laughed at God's prophecy of having a child,
Moses was a murderer,
Rahab was a harlot,
So was David,
Jonah was a rebellious and prejudiced man,
Elijah was a pouter,
Peter denied Christ,
And Paul was a persecutor of Christians.

((And those are only a FEW examples!))

But God "faithfully" judged them.
And He USED them to CHANGE THE WORLD!

He can do it with YOU too!
Look at all those whom God HAS used,
and know that He can also use YOU!

Get a VISION from the Bible of what God wants you to be.
Then, try each day to be that person.

Love ya!
