"The BIBLE is the book on which the Republic rests!"
(Andrew Jackson)

Prov. 18:1-2
Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and
intermeddleth with all wisdom.
2 A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself.

LIGHT from the WORD.

A person must have an inner desire to seek wisdom.

A person must determine to seek wisdom.
That determination result in him/her being separated from
normal worldly thought....and seeking real truth.

Once a person has determined to seek wisdom, then he/she
begins to intermeddle with wisdom by seeking real truth.

There's a big difference between a person seeking wisdom and
the "fool" described in verse 2 (above).
A person who does NOT seek wisdom, really only wants to
please SELF.
They're not interested in "understanding", they just want
to have their own way.

Now, compare this analogy to Bible study!
The wise want to and determine to learn truth!
They decide to study the Bible OFTEN -- even DAILY!

Those who do NOT study the Bible, only want to please SELF!

Are YOU studying your Bible?

Love ya!
